Taste of Tippecanoe

TASTE of Tippecanoe is a one-day summer festival held downtown on the third Saturday in June. The festival, which generally draws around 40,000 people, focuses on providing visitors a wide selection of foods from community restaurants, plus a large selection of live musical entertainment. It is operated by the Tippecanoe Arts Federation and is the organization's primary fundraiser.

Happy Hollow Park

Happy Hollow Park is approximately 81 acres in size with 1 mile of paved Trolley Line Trail (hiking) and approximately 1 mile of Footpaths (Salisbury St., Garden, and Rose Street Trails).  The park contains 2 accessible playgrounds for ages 2-5 and 5-12, a open turf area and 5 picnic shelters which may be reserved.
 
*Hours: 8 am until half-hour after sunset.

Awesome Westside Advocates (AWA)

This is a social club for adults with developmental disabilites in Avon, IN. 
Meetings, activities and times vary.

Connection Ministries Bible Study

Bible Study Groups for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities.

Williamsport Falls

Indiana's tallest water fall! 90 feet high.

Shades State Park

Shades State Park is that peaceful place you've sought. Located about 17 miles southwest of Crawfordsville (off S.R. 47), it is a favorite for hikers and canoeists.
The beautiful sandstone cliffs overlooking Sugar Creek and numerous shady ravines provide the backdrop for your journey through this nature lover's paradise.
Also on the property is Pine Hills Nature Preserve, which affords spectacular topography for those willing to take a fairly long hike.
Trails range from easy to very rugged.

Portland Arch Nature Preserve

Portland Arch is named for a natural bridge carved into the rock, a feature unique in our state. Nature trails with moderate to rugged terrain.

Covington Circle Trails

Asphalt walking trail. Wheelchair accessible. Features: 200 year old tress, two spans 1904 Pratt Pony Iron Truss Bridge crossing Mallory Branch, wooded area with springs, farmland country, scenic views, wildlife abudance, lane of old trees to walk/ride/run under, wetland reserve.
