Director of Services Candidate

Summary: The Director of Services provides direction, support and oversight to the Regional Program Directors. This role is responsible for managing the service operations of the agency and ensuring that the services provided exceed expectations. The Director of Services will help determine agency strategy, policy and direction and participate on the senior level leadership team.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Directors by providing strategic direction and ensuring that each Director's strategy is aligned with the Agency's mission.
  • Monitor individual and team performance providing feedback and coaching to Directors.
  • Resolve issues or disagreements while promoting a collaborative environment.
  • Provide guidance to regional budgets while holding them accountable for meeting objectives.
  • Foster relationships, trust, collaboration, and effective communication.
  • Ensure compliance within each director domain.
  • Collaborating and effective communication with other departments.
  • Implementing training for new and experienced regional directors
  • Support the continuing development of the Directors.

Qualifications

  • Possess a combination of technical, managerial, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead, inspire and communicate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage complex, unpredictable, or urgent service situations.
  • Previous Director experience within the organization is required.
  • A bachelor's degree in human services, management, or a business-related field is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Willingness to pursue continuing education to expand knowledge and practical support for the services of CVL.
