Happy Hollow Park

Happy Hollow Park is approximately 81 acres in size with 1 mile of paved Trolley Line Trail (hiking) and approximately 1 mile of Footpaths (Salisbury St., Garden, and Rose Street Trails).  The park contains 2 accessible playgrounds for ages 2-5 and 5-12, a open turf area and 5 picnic shelters which may be reserved.
 
*Hours: 8 am until half-hour after sunset.

Slayter Hill at Purdue

Slater hill offers a perfect sledding slope for the snowy months and a wonderful concers venue for the warmer months. Purdue ofeten host concerts and movie watches for people to bring their blankes and enjoy the evening. 

Union Rack and Roll

Hours: Sun-Thurs 10am-12am (midnight) Friday & Saturday 10am-1am. During the Spring and Fall semesters, Purdue has bowling classes until 4:30pm so there is no open bowling until 4:30pm Monday through Friday but the billiard tables are open. There are weekly events and specials throughout the week. There are league nights two nights a week, Unlimited Billiards, Thifty Thursday, Xtreme Bowling, and Sunday Funday Bowl. 
Bowling Prices (per game):
Purdue Students $2.25 during the week and $2.50 on the weekend (plus $2.25 shoe rental)

All Fired Up!

This is an art studio for people of all ages and abilities. They are open Monday-Saturday 12pm-9pm and Sunday 12pm-5pm. Walk-ins are welcome. There are no studio fees so prices are based on what piece you choose to paint. Prices start around $8. Mugs, plates, bowls, etc are typically $15-25. It is located in the walkway between Wabash Landing 9 Movie Theatre and Scotty's Brewhouse. Daily Specials are listed on their website.

Prophetstown State Park

Prophetstown is open every day including holidays. There is a gate fee of $8 per vehicle or you can get an annual pass for $50. There are many hiking/walking trails, paved and unpaved. There is an aquatic center which is open from Memorial day through Labor day. Operating hours are 11am-7pm and admission is $5 per person. There is a 30-foot tube slide, lazy river, zero entry pool, etc along with bathhouses, lockers, changing rooms, and concession area. There is also The Farm which is open everyday 10am-5pm and is free to visit.

Lilly Nature Center

Lilly Nature Center is located at the Celery Bog in West Lafayette. The Celery Bog is open dawn to dusk, with no admission charge. It has 4.3 miles of paved trails and 2.5 miles of natural paths through the woods. Many sections of the trails take you right beside the marsh where you can see turtles, geese, cranes, and more. Lilly Nature Center is open 10am to 5pm Wednesday through Saturday and 1pm to 5pm on Sunday. Lilly Nature Center has many educational materials to look at and interact with. There is a bird watching area inside and an employee is always on hand to answer questions.

Fort Ouiatenon

The Fort Ouiatenon blockhouse is open weekends from 1-5 p.m. May through September.
